We will do our best to fill and deliver your order as quickly and safely as possible. Most orders within Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch city limits will be delivered within 1 to 3 working days. Most other orders within New Zealand will be delivered within 2 to 4 working days. If we can only partially fill your order we will email you to ask whether you would like us to ship the items that we have available and the balance later or hold the order to send all items together. Your credit card will not be billed until you have confirmed.
Our delivery rates for the webstore are:
- Local delivery within Auckland, Wellington or Chrischurch city limits (except large items or multiple parcels or to Waiheke Island - see options below.); $4.50
- Delivery outside Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch city limits (except large items or multiple parcels); $8.50
- Waiheke Island delivery: $8.50
- Large items (including but not limited to canvas, easels, large boards and papers) or multiple parcels will require a freight quotation which we will supply as soon as possible and before confirming your order or billing your credit card. Large items are any item over 100cm x 100cm x 10cm (or 45cm x 45cm x 45 cm or a variation of) in size or 15kg in weight.
We currently only deliver to addresses within New Zealand.
Returns on Products Purchased from our Webstore
Please email us for permission to return goods purchased from our webstore prior to returning the goods to us. Include details of the transaction and the reason why you wish to return the goods. We will then reply to you with permission and instructions for returning the goods should we choose to accept your request.
If you wish to return the goods in person to the Gordon Harris store from which they were sent to you, you must take with you the emailed permission to return the goods and a copy of the emailed order confirmation/invoice.
We will accept return of merchandise ONLY IF IN SALEABLE CONDITION and your request is within 14 days of receipt of the goods.
Goods returned which are not faulty or incorrectly supplied may be exchanged at our discretion but not refunded. For these items the cost of return shipping shall be the responsibility of the customer.
For goods returned because of a manufacturers fault we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act. Faulty goods will be replaced or repaired in the first instance or refunded if no replacement or suitable exchange is available.
If goods are incorrectly supplied we will arrange return of the incorrect goods and supply the correct goods in exchange provided the incorrect goods are received back by us in the same condition they were sent.
If your product has been damaged during delivery please keep the packaging in which the product was delivered in case the courier company needs to inspect it or we request a photo to be sent. Please contact us for further instructions and we will do our best to resolve the problem as soon as possible.
If we have agreed to a refund we will do so in the same way the purchase was paid for. If you have paid by credit card the refund will be credited back to your card. If you have purchased on a company account then a credit will be issued to your account.
Prices, GST and Sales Taxes
All prices displayed are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.
Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are fixed once your order is confirmed. In the rare event of a pricing error we will notify you by email before your payment is completed.
Prices include GST which we are required to automatically charge and withhold for orders to be delivered to addresses within New Zealand. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to any other country.
