50 colours in 37ml tubes.

A fast drying oil colour which means that the traditional oil painting techniques of both impasto and glazing can be done in considerably less time, and a painting can be completed in a single session.
All Griffin oil colours remain workable on the palette for 4 to 8 hours, and are touch dry on the canvas in 18 to 24 hours.

Winsor & Newton have over 170 years of experience in the making of oil colours. The choice of raw materials, formulation and manufacture of Griffin oils reflects this experience and provides a product of absolute excellence.

The consistency of Griffin oils is slightly more fluid than traditional oils.

Winsor & Newton has always been core to the world of art materials. They proudly maintain the pledge of manufacturing “The World’s Finest Artists' Materials”.

This is as true now as it was when the company was founded in 1832, and they take their relationship with the artist very seriously.

Winsor & Newton have built their reputation on the quality and reliability of their products, combined with continual product development, improvement and innovation. However, while keeping true to the principles laid down by William Winsor and Henry Newton in the 1800’s they actively embrace new ideas, new technologies, and search the world for the best raw materials available.
