Derwent Inktense Pencils provide a unique drawing and painterly experience. Their core is pigment-based and extremely soluble in water, but unlike watercolour pencils, when you add water the core transforms to an ink-like wash. Once the wash dries, it is permanent and cannot be rewetted. Great for using on fabric such as silk and cotton!
