Cranfield Traditional Etching Printing Inks

A versatile‚ mid-toned Carbon Black (PBk7) ink with low viscosity & low tack. Mid Black works particularly well for images with LINE. It has a soft feel and wipes evenly & easily to give a strong print. This ink allows the printmaker full control of the amount of ink left on the plate.

Cranfield Traditional Etching Inks are handcrafted and highly pigmented which can be used for engraving, etching, drypoint, mezzotint and aquatint printmaking techniques.

All colours are rated 6 or higher on the International Blue Wool Scale for lightfastness
