A strong, warm-toned black made from genuine Charred-bone black pigment ( PBr9) with high viscosity & high tack. Our bone black works well for both LINE & TONE.
This ink is quite stiff
Cranfield Traditional Etching Inks are handcrafted and highly pigmented which can be used for engraving, etching, drypoint, mezzotint and aquatint printmaking techniques.
Suitable for all kinds of intaglio printmaking
Oil based using high quality linseed oil and traditional formulas
All colours are rated 6 or higher on the International Blue Wool Scale for lightfastness
Etchings using the inks stay bright and fresh
Perfect consistency for printing intricate lines and designs
