LIMITED EDITION Schmincke Exceptional Colours Horadam Watercolour Set.

This set is the result of the latest collaboration between Schmincke and our very own Evan Woodruffe.
The Exceptional Colours Set introduces some unique and rarely used colours, while still providing a practical, versatile palette of mixing colours.
Schmincke is a colour innovator, often the first to introduce new pigments to artists, and the Exceptional Colours Set celebrates this, bringing a freshness and sense of excitement that the more advanced or adventurous painter will appreciate.

Aluminium box with 9 x 1/2 pans - Schmincke's ambassador Evan Woodruffe has once again combined special colours in this HORADAM watercolour set, which are suitable for mixing many more brilliant colours.
This new set showcases some amazing and rarely used Horadam watercolours, while still providing a practical, versatile palette of mixing colours.

These colours are presented in an elegant, grooved aluminium box with room for another nine ½ pans (so the customer can customise the selection further), and two mixing trays.

The Exceptional Colours Set contains nine ½ Pan Horadam Watercolours:
206 Titanium Yellow - an unusually pale yellow that produces cool, desaturated (pastel) tints in mixes
213 Chromium Yellow Hue Deep - a warm yellow for mixing landscape greens
359 Saturn Red - a super-saturated orange that produces earthy tones in mixtures with blue
343 Quinacridone Red Light - an easy to handle, clean mixing red
913 Volcano Red - a Super Granulating, single pigment red for textural effects
487 Cobalt Blue Light - an almost neutral blue for producing soft tones
479 Helio Cerulean - a special version of phthalo blue that provides clean, brilliant hues
510 Cobalt Green Turquoise - a granulating, strong opaque greenish blue
514 Helio Green - a warm "yellowish" phthalo green for brilliant mixtures
