Akua Ingalio Inks, designed by Printmakers, deliver brilliant colours, intense blacks and unmatched working properties. Akua Intaglio Inks only dry through absorption (they will not dry on the printing plate), and clean up easily with soap and water.
Features:
Easy to use, water-soluble, soy based etching inks.
Great for Intaglio/Etching, Monotype, Relief and Collagraph printmaking.
Very easy to wipe, they can be left uncovered in the jar without hardening or forming a skin.
Akua inks contain no dryers, so the ink drying time will be similar to oil based inks.
Clean up with a dry rag followed by warm soapy water and a rag.
If necessary, plates and solar plates can be cleaned with vegetable oil.
