Traditional easy-cut art-print lino, specially made for carving. Mounted onto 18mm fibreboard blocks, giving extra rigidity allowing the user to achieve consistent, flat prints.
Invented in 1858 by Englishman Frederick Walton - and hard as nails, linoleum had been used with great difficulty by artists as renowned as Picasso and Matisse. Now, you need not struggle with flooring grades any longer. Essdee Lino, made especially soft, is ideal for the student and master alike, uses natural materials such as linseed oil and wood flour, and is even biodegradable.
Useful with oil and water based inks, this superior Lino prints on a wide range of paper, board and fabric.
